Wellington Bacon & Bourbon Festival is a must-attend event for food and drink enthusiasts. Not only does it offer the opportunity to indulge in delicious bacon-infused dishes and sample different types of bourbon, but it also allows you to support and learn more about the local businesses that make up the community.

During my visit to the festival, I was able to try the candied bacon kabobs which were a standout snack that perfectly complemented my beer. While they were a bit overpriced, the quality and flavor made it worth the cost. I was impressed by the variety of bacon-inspired dishes available from different vendors, and there was something for every taste preference.

It was a great opportunity to have fun with the Wellington community while enjoying great food and drink. It's definitely an event to add to your weekend plans, especially if you're looking for something unique to explore and taste.

First time ever at the Bacon and Bourbon festival in Wellington. Went to the WPB RV Show first. Didn't plan to spend so much time outside, but it was a gorgeous day so my shoulders got a little crispy. Had some bacon slathered in sweetness on a stick. Delish, but a little high- priced ($20!). A Manhattan (bourbon). The brand they used was def not top shelf, so not my cup of tea. Tried several other dishes. The conch fritters were the best. Got some lowball glasses from Total Wine (unexpected treat) and tried chocolate & peanut butter bourbon which tasted like a boozy Reese's peanut butter cup. Would be dangerous and quite fattening because I loved it! Met some new people. Overall it was a great time. Note to self: Remember to apply sun screen no matter what!!!

This is a great little event! Came here for the first time and I thought it was awesome! Parking and admission are totally free. It had a good amount of food and drink stands as well as a variety of other things such as hot sauces, desserts, candy, and others. Plenty of drink options (although a bit pricey). The only thing that disappointed me was a lack of bacon related things. Maybe 1-2 stands actually incorporated bacon into what they were selling out of maybe 50 stands. Other than that it was a great experience and I’ll be returning in the future.

Great atmosphere and good music the food was delicious also I went with family and we all had a great time. We parked at the mall and a shuttle took us to the festival. Super convenient!!

Place was great.. OMG the pork belly was insane. Bourbon went down super smooth.

There was a bourbon sampling bar tent. But SADLY almost no bacon!! One food vendor had a bunch of bacon on a stick that had been dipped in a sugar and ginger glaze and smoked on the grill for 20.00. That was it!! Their website described many different interesting combos of bacon and other foods but none of them were found here.

Like this festival the only thing I do not like is the animal abuse … lots of dogs are allowed to come and walk on the baking hot side walks and trip over their tongues because they are soooo hot . I hope they do not allow dogs next year . Like I said the festival itself is great though, good music, good food .
