Great day out, La Belle really try to put on a good show!!!
BUT how can the police allow OFF ROAD Vehicles with no tags to drive on the roads AND driving on the side walks!!
Plus throwing candy and beads on the roads in front of the parade come on; the amount of children I saw nearly getting run over.
Probable my first and last parade.
But there was this little lad enjoying a sandwich!!

What a great celebration. I am from Wisconsin and I thoroughly enjoyed it. There were several food booths and lots of booths to buy crafts or t-shirts. The entertainment on stage was great. I didn't win any of the armadillo races but it was still fun.

The last full weekend in February, Labelle Florida comes to life at Barron Park and around the the whole town food and good times can be found. This fest has been going on for over 30 years that I know about and it begins with a Saturday morning parade and continues with concerts and car shows, bands and all kinds of vendors until Sunday around 5pm. Check it out!

A fun seasonal event with lots of vendors. You gotta try the swamp cabbage fritters-absolutely heavenly. And the local Rotary hosts armadillo races to raise money. Fun for the whole family.

Such a fun festival. I always enjoy the parade and there are all kinds of venders with cool and unique things you can look at and buy. They have a mini fair for kids and plenty of little games you can play.

Amazing as it is every year!!! So much to do and eat and drink. It's armadillo races are just awesome! Love everything about the parade, except the crowdedness..but that is to be expected!

Went for 1 day and it was a pretty good let down. Only 2 vendors were selling swamp cabbage and both sucked. That stuff tasted like dirty laundry smells!! However, the Police and EMT/Fire personnel did an outstanding job! Thanks for your help!! Also had some very tasty ice cream near the Police and EMT/Fire fighter tents. The parking was substandard as well as the entrance to the festival grounds. Only 1 way in and the same way out. Poorly done.
